Kinusaiga

Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese craft invented in the 1980s where small fabric scraps are meticulously tucked into carved grooves in a board to create textured, mosaic like pictures. Often called “quilting without thread” or “fabric painting”, the technique requires no sewing or needles.

Make an 8x8 block, you choose your own design.
