Debbie Maddy Shibori Dying Workshop - Intensive
Class will be held at the Kauai Society of Artists location, 2600 Kaumualii Hwy, Kukui Grove Center, Lihue.
Additional materials fee of $35 to be paid directly to instructors which includes 1 - 14” x 72” silk scarf for dying. Additional fabrics for dying will be available in march at Vicky’s Fabrics and at the venue. Individual pieces for dying should be no larger than 36” x 45”. Depending on technique and time, students will be able to dye 3-4 pieces over the course of the workshop.

Debbie Maddy has studied the art of Shibori and indigo dyeing from notable artists in Japan, England and the United States. Her hand dyed fabrics are reproduced at a mill in Japan for Moda Fabrics. Debbie has been featured on national television as well as online classes.
