For the month of October Vicky?s Fabrics has decided to Host a Food/ Fund Drive in partnership with Hawaii Food Bank Kauai. We are proud to announce that we are supporting the drive by offering the Komebukuro class in exchange for a five to ten pound bag of rice. Or, if you would like to make a monetary donation please do so by selecting that cart item. Did you know that with a donation of $10.00, you can provide 22 meals?

You still need to register (right here, no fee) and bring a bag of rice to class. All materials will be included, you bring your sewing machine (or rent one of ours). Make this traditional Komebukuro (traditional Japanese Rice Bag) in one session. In Japan, you can take your Komebukuro to the market and have the merchant fill it with the rice of your choice. But, you can fill it with all of your possibles!! Embellish it with sashiko (that?s another class with offer!!)
